We keep in mind that the hydraulic systems and hydraulic power units (HPU) for the offshore industry are subject to special requirements. Sea and climate affect the moving parts while safety and a long life-cycle need to be preconditions for the high-quality hydraulic systems we develop, manufacture and install.

New Active Heave Compensation

More advantages over traditional heave compensation

A small actuation cylinder, directly connected to the piston accumulator, compensates for the efficiency losses. Oil flow to the winch motors is regulated based on a modified MRU-signal. The method results in an energy saving up to 85%.
